The Day Santa Got Sick

About the Author - Darrell Clement

This is Darrell's second children's book. His first book, Oma Got Mad was a limited print edition. As a playwright and screenwriter Darrell received Finalist placing for The Midden in Storypros 2020 International Screenplay Competition. He received a Quarterfinalist placing for his work The Warden of White Otter Castle in 2021 Emerging Screenwriters Genre Screenplay Competition.

As a full-bearded, professional Santa for over twenty years, Darrell was compelled to answer the number one question children asked. "Are you real?" Which is the genesis of his story The Day Santa Got Sick. The sequel (in development) is Santa for a Night and The Day Santa Lost His List due for release in 2025. Born in Canada, Darrell lives outside Calgary with his wonderful partner Marlene.
